CB Radio is a South Lake Tahoe-based duo that moves effortlessly from wine bar jazz to late night grooves, New Orleans funk, dance music, and out there freaky jams. With the flexibility to perform as a duo or expand with saxophone, trombone, guitar, and special guests, CB Radio brings a truly unique sound and a different experience every time.

The creative force behind CB Radio, Chad blends jazz, funk, soul, and improvisation with a love of groove and exploration.
Brian Atkins | Drums, Percussion, Vocals
Brian brings the groove and rhythmic foundation, balancing tight, dynamic playing with the freedom to respond and improvise in the moment.

Andy Voelkel | Trombone
Andy adds a soulful, funky edge with trombone lines that bring warmth, swagger, and an extra dimension to the band's sound. He is also known for his work with Mescalito, Bison, and Drought Relief.
Andy Hatch | Saxophones
Andy brings soulful melodies, danceable lines, and a versatile horn sound, moving between the deep tones of the baritone and tenor saxophones. He is also a member of Bison.
